Dimensional weight (also referred to as "dim" weight) is used when packages are large in volume, but do not weigh much. For example, the shipping cost of a large box of popcorn (which does not weigh very much) may be based on the dimensional weight because of the amount of space it takes on an aircraft.
Dimensional Weight Replaces Oversize in 2007
Effective Feb. 5, 2007, the shipping charges for larger-size FedEx and UPS Ground packages will be calculated based on dimensional weight rather than on oversize package definitions.
Dimensional weight is based on volume (the amount of space a package occupies in relation to its actual weight). If the cubic size of your FedEx Ground package measures three cubic feet (5,184 cubic inches) or greater, you will be charged the greater of the dimensional weight or the actual weight. Shipping charges for packages smaller than three cubic feet are based on actual weight.

Shipping Policy
We will ship your items anywhere in the continental US (48 States) prepaid. - unless otherwise noted. All orders are usually shipped within 2-5 business days. You will be notified by E-Mail if there will be a delay. We use UPS and FedEx - you will receive a tracking number as soon as the item has been sent to you. If delivery is to a PO Box, we will use the US Postal Service instead.
** We are currently able to send some shipments to Canada and other Overseas destinations.

Additional Information:
You may find that shipping charges may seem higher than you expect. Many of our items are large and/or heavy and usually require special and/or additional packing because they are fragile. Your shipping cost have been computed as close as possible to the actual cost we incur. If you live near or will be visiting Central Florida--we can arrange for you to pick-up your items. Additionally, all shipping companies had substantial rate increases on Jan 1, 2006 and Jan 1, 2007.

We want you to be satisfied with the items you receive from us. If, however, you are not satisfied, you may return your purchase to us for a refund.
* You must return the item to us in the original packing and it must not be damaged in any way.
* There will be a 15% re-stocking fee.
* We will not refund any shipping charges.
* If the original item had FREE SHIPPING - we will deduct that cost from your refund.
* You must contact us prior to shipping within 7 days to obtain an RMA number.

We guarantee that the item you receive is the item show in our store. However, since many of these items are individually crafted and painted, there could be variations in the color of the specific item you receive.
Damage Shipments:
We add extra packing to most of our items prior to shipping to assure their safe arrival to you. These are quality items and you do not want them arriving damaged. If your item is damaged in shipment - refuse to accept it from the carrier. You must notify us immediately. We insure all our shipments. Failure to contact us could limit our ability to seek damages from the shipper and the replacement of your item.

Special information for Bathroom Vanities and Life Size statues
Most items require delivery via common carrier due to the size of the products, which means a truck freight company, will be delivering this item. To provide a higher level of service the shipper will work with you directly to arrange for a time and date of delivery.
The common carrier drivers will bring your purchase to your delivery address for curbside delivery. The driver will not bring the shipment into your home or up any stairs. Drivers are expected to notify you of a delivery time and day and your delivery service options, so you can have the appropriate help available to get purchases into your home if necessary.
Please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it depending on the level of delivery service. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house if it is not included in your shipping charges. You can work with the shipper directly to arrange for any additional delivery services that you would like to take advantage of. You will be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for these additional services.
Note: The freight compnay will charge an additional $75.00 (in some cases $100) if the delivery of any large item is to a residence.
Will my item look exactly like the picture?
BobkatGifts makes every effort to provide high quality images, and measurements to assist you in selecting your furniture. Keep in mind that all products are individually handcrafted, therefore, they can vary in color. Sometimes measurements are rounded off, and occasionally they will vary slightly from the description. If precise dimensions or colors are critical to your order we suggest contacting us by phone or e-mail in order to further assist you.
Please note: We are not responsible for color variations or measurements that are slightly off (three inches or less).
Will the furniture require assembly?
All products are shipped fully or partially assembled. Furniture will be shipped with all necessary fasteners, and can be assembled with easy to follow instructions. For products containing plumbing, we suggest that you contact a certified plumber to perform the final installation.

Items listed in each section of the website have fluctuating quantity in stock. Although most items will be available and shipped on time, we cannot offer full guarantee since these products are often sold in large lots to retail businesses.
